Seasonal from September 1-30.
North Carolina’s Pamlico Sound has exceptional flounder gigging. Not only flounder but sheepshead and of course the tasty mullet. Some of the best flounder gigging can be found in the Pamlico Sound. This is a secret that will let us have some of the best flounder gigging at night (or fishing during the day). Although my other fishing excursions are on the west bank of the Pamlico Sound, my flounder gigging trips are based out of Oregon Inlet. You won’t be disappointed as your trip with me will be exceptional.
The flounder season can vary and right now it’s all of September.
From the fall months through spring, they will migrate through the inlets to wrecks and reefs just off shore but will return each spring to the Pamlico sound
