NC Tarpon Fishing

North Carolina and Pamlico Sound play host to the east coast’s tarpon migration from late June through August every year.  In fact, Pamlico Sound is one of the best places on the planet to catch a tarpon over 100 pounds.  NC Tarpon Fishing ChartersWe catch a bunch over 150 pounds.  These Silver Kings are a spectacle like no other when hooked.  Aerial acrobats and all, these fish are crowd pleasers!

North Carolina tarpon fishing is marine big game hunting at its finest.  The exhilarating fight is well worth the stalk once one of these beasts is bought boat side.  Once you’ve hooked an NC Silver King, you’ll want to catch more…and more…and more.  These fish can be frustrating…and their stubbornness makes the thrill of the fight and the satisfaction of the catch exponentially better.  Seeing a 6-foot-long fish jump several feet out of the water right in front of the boat is an experience that you’ll never forget.  Be sure to bring a camera, and be prepared for some sore arms the following day!

Our fully licensed guides make the trip productive, fun, and safe.  We’ve been fishing these waters since childhood.  We know these fish, and we work hard to catch you an NC Silver King.Pamlico Sound NC Giant Red Drum and Tarpon Fishing Guide Pricing
